You never know when hunger will kick in. That is why being prepared and having snacks on hand is crucial for your success.

If you stay ready you don’t have to get ready

If you haven’t heard the term meal-prepping or batch-cooking, we highly recommend you familiarise yourself with it. It means preparing food for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even snacks in bulk, at once, and storing it until you need it (within reason, of course).

We highly recommend this method for preparing your snacks. You should have them ready at least the day before, but if it’s something that keeps well, like nuts and seeds, feel free to portion them out at the start of the week. Store them in the fridge or pantry in small portions and grab them before you run out the door.

Tupperware is your best friend

Not sure how to store your snacks? The simplest ways of storing and transporting them are reusable containers. They can easily fit in your backpack, briefcase or purse. Some even slide right into your pocket. To make sure you’re always ready, find small boxes or bags that will fit your snack perfectly. Remember that a big container will want to get filled, which may make you overpack and therefore overeat on snacks.
